i was born in 1972, my mom's family is all from South Miami. I spent much of my childhood in the 1980s there. Great memories of being there during the Miami Vice/Scarface era, it was a fun + simultaneously scary time. My grandmother actually got robbed at Dadeland Mall once in 1983. Miami truly is a Magic City and this record makes me feel like I'm there! 🌴
